I am a 4th generation Port Townsendite, having been born and raised
in town. My family has been involved in business and community here since the late 1800's.
The Port Townsend I knew as a child has given way to a much more diverse community with a
broad range of interests and view points giving our town a distinct character which we are
all proud of.
Growing up in a small Puget
Sound town, it is not unusual that I spend a good deal of time out doors. Sailing,
fishing, diving and skiing from an early age gave me a special appreciation for our
surroundings. As an adult my passion for the water lead me to adventuring from the Chuk
Chee Sea to the warm waters of the Southern Pacific. Whether cruising the waters of Mexico
or working a tug in Alaska, my home has always been Port Townsend.
In 1992 I came to real estate
as a career. My prior personal experience working with Realtors for my own transactions
has helped me keep the perspective from a clients view point. Real estate has become
more complicated and much more expensive in recent years and having a professional guide
you through the process, whether buying or selling, has never been more important. Finding
the perfect property or listing your property for sale is only the beginning.
Negotiating doesn't end until closing. I have a great deal of success keeping a
transaction moving forward when buyer and seller may not see eye to eye. Even the
